Short Answer
Tenants see a simplified version of Tapi that lets them report maintenance, view scheduled repairs, and communicate with property managers and trades — but they don’t see internal notes, owner communication, or job details outside their scope.
Expanded Answer
From the tenant’s side, Tapi provides a clear and easy way to report maintenance and stay informed about job progress. However, the tenant view is intentionally limited to protect privacy and reduce confusion.
When tenants use Tapi, they can:
Report maintenance requests through the chatbot or web link.
View scheduled repairs, including the attending tradie and date.
Send and receive messages related to their job (visible only between the tenant and their property manager or tradie).
Upload extra photos or videos if more details are requested.
Tenants cannot see:
Job descriptions or internal notes entered by the property manager.
Photos or videos attached internally.
Any communication between the property manager, owner, or supplier not directed to them.

Tips and Reminders
Encourage tenants to use Tapi for all maintenance communication — it keeps everything tracked in one place.
Remind your team that tenants only see limited details, so internal notes remain private.
When responding to tenants, use clear and reassuring language, since they won’t see backend context.
Test the tenant view occasionally to confirm your messaging and workflows appear as intended.
