Short Answer
Open the work order, scroll to Manage your compliance documents, click Upload new document, select the document type and dates, upload the PDF, and save. Your agency will then verify it.
Expanded Answer
Some property management agencies use Tapi to keep supplier documentation up to date (e.g. public liability insurance, trade licence, H&S documents). Once you upload a document and the agency verifies it, Tapi will automatically remind you to re-upload before it expires.
Important notes:
Compliance is not global across Tapi — you must upload documents for each agency you work with.
Tapi doesn’t block work if a document is missing, but by accepting the job you are confirming you hold valid and current compliance.
Reminders and expiry windows (e.g. 30 or 60 days before) are set by the agency.
Follow these steps:
Open the work order
When you open the job, you may see a yellow banner telling you the job needs compliance or that something is expiring soon.Go to “Manage your compliance documents”
Scroll to the bottom-right of the work order. You’ll see a list of current documents, their Valid until dates, and an option to Upload new document.Upload the document
After upload, the document is sent to the agency to verify. Once verified, Tapi will remind you again before it expires.
If you can’t see the compliance section, the feature may not be enabled for that agency — check with the agency or contact Tapi Support.
